Susie Murray

Susie Murray: Pilates/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher

My interest in Yoga and Pilates began as a means to slowly encourage a quality of strength in body and in mind. I believe that to move better improves our quality of participation in our lives and with those around us. So by improving how we connect with our own body and developing healthy movement patterns will always further develop and enhance our quality of life and how we can improve and cultivate strong relationships to each other and to ourselves.

My movement practice is built from attending and studying an array of different training modalities. I am a Yoga and Pilates teacher; I've studied dance, hatha, vinyasa, mat pilates and reformer pilates.

Originally training with The Elbowroom and then continuing my yoga studies in Hatha Yoga at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Nasik, India. I then went on to discover the immense benefits of pilates and obtained my teaching qualifications through Stott Pilates and my reformer training with Bodyfirm Pilates here in Dublin.

The breath alongside the key components of alignment and balanced energy are consistent points of focus in all of my classes to inspire strength, agility, adaptability and flexibility in the body and the mind.
